Terms of Service

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of StarProof, operated by OMNIAMUS S.R.L., Ploiești, Romania ("StarProof", "we", "us"). By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What StarProof is

StarProof is software that helps a business ask its own customers for reviews and see the results. We do not write, moderate, buy or host the reviews themselves — those live on the platform you link to (such as Google). We are not a party to the relationship between you and your customers.

3. Business accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts on behalf of your business.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for everything done through your account.
• Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorised access.
• One account represents one business. Do not create multiple accounts to obtain additional trials.

4. Subscription, trial and billing

StarProof is sold as a subscription at the prices shown in the app, currently EUR 29 per month or EUR 290 per year. New businesses may start a 14-day free trial; a valid payment method is required to begin it, nothing is charged during the trial, and cancelling before it ends costs you nothing. The trial is available once per business. When the trial ends the subscription starts automatically unless you cancel first.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from the billing portal in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refundable for periods already served.

5. Your responsibility for who you contact

This is the most important obligation in these terms. You may only use StarProof to message people who have given you their contact details for this kind of message and whom you are legally permitted to contact under the rules that apply to you — including GDPR, e-privacy/PECR rules, and, for the United States, TCPA and carrier requirements. You must not upload purchased lists, message people who have opted out, or send bulk unsolicited messages. You are solely responsible for holding the necessary consent, and you will reimburse us for claims arising from your failure to do so.

6. Honest reviews only

• Do not use StarProof to solicit fake reviews or reviews from people who did not use your service.
• Do not offer incentives for reviews where the review platform prohibits it.
• Do not use StarProof to suppress, filter or hide negative reviews — the product does not do this, and you must not attempt to.
• You must follow the rules of the review platform you link to (for example Google's review policies) and applicable law (for example the FTC's rules on reviews).

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use StarProof for anything unlawful or misleading.
• Do not attempt to breach, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not impersonate another business.

8. Availability

We work to keep StarProof available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue features and perform maintenance. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and message delivery ultimately depends on email and mobile carriers.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for the acts of businesses or their customers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms — in particular the consent and honest-reviews rules above — that is used to send spam, or where required by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as StarProof evolves. We will publish the current version here and, for material changes affecting subscribers, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means accepting the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact
